Public Transportation

From Hanover main station it is about a 5-min walk to "Kröpcke", the nearest tram stop, or you take line 1 (direction Laatzen or Sarstedt), 2 (Rethen), 3 (Wettbergen), 7 (Wettbergen), 8 (Messe/Nord) or 9 (Empelde) to the next station "Kröpcke". There you change to line 4 (direction Garbsen) or line 5 (Stöcken) to the stop "Schneiderberg/Wilhelm-Busch-Museum".

Once there, go straight over the traffic lights in the direction of Schneiderberg until you reach the next crossroads, Callinstraße, and turn left (at the main canteen). After approx. 150 m you will already see the high-rise building Appelstraße 9a on your right (see photo). The Institute for Geotechnical Engineering is located on the eighth floor of this building.

Access to the university area "Schneiderberg" is possible via Schneiderberg or Appelstraße.

Plane

From Hanover airport in Langenhagen, take the "S-Bahn" no. 5 to the main station and follow the directions under "Public transport" from there.
